 Helen is a 20 year veteran of the real estate industry. She served as agent and owner of an independent real estate company in Bryan-College Station during the 1980’s. In 1990, Helen joined the Richard Smith organization, which at that time was in the process of acquiring the Austin operation from Coldwell Banker®. In 1991 Helen relocated to Austin, and soon began serving the company in multiple arenas focusing on relocation and branch management. She was Director of the award-winning Relocation Department from 1991- 2001, and was honored with multiple customer service awards, receiving highest honors for five consecutive years. In 1997, Helen began serving as a branch office Vice President, in addition to her relocation responsibilities. During the six years that Helen served in the Round Rock Office, sales volume doubled, they were named a Premier office each year, and Helen received the Office Manager of Excellence Award. Helen was promoted to President and COO of the Austin Region in 2004. She and her husband live in Austin, and are actively involved in their church, serving in various leadership capacities. She has four children, all of whom reside in the Greater Austin area. Helen serves on the Legislative Committee with the Texas Association of REALTORS®, she is a member of the Employee Relocation Council and continues as a national speaker in the relocation arena. Helen is also a volunteer and national speaker for the American Cancer Society.

Nicole began her real estate career with Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS in 2003. Serving as Vice President of Corporate Services for the Austin Region, she is responsible for the management of administrative staff and procedures for all 11 Austin Region offices. She oversees the offices operating budgets, audits, reports, and awards processes. Additionally she spearheads the sales database software conversions and development. Nicole has an AA in Business Administration, and after interviewing with Coldwell Banker United, knew she had to be a part of this organization. She most enjoys being a part of Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS for the unique experiences and opportunities, “Every day is different and challenging!” Nicole lives just north of Austin in Leander, Texas with her husband. She enjoys music, outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and hopes that one day she and her husband will travel the world.

Ann Buck

As Vice President of Operations, Ann is responsible for facilities management of all Austin region locations, overseeing customer relations, and risk management.  Ann served three years of Active Duty with the U.S. Army, and began her real estate career in 1990 in Washington State.  Married to an Army Officer, Ann experienced relocation first hand more than twenty times.  She began her career with Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS^® in 1999, working with the Round Rock Office.  She joined the Austin Corporate Office in 2002 serving as Special Projects Consultant.  She later became a part of the Relocation Team, serving as Inventory and REO Manager, and added Relocation Manager to her responsibilities in 2005.  Ann was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Austin Region in 2006; she says she most enjoys working for Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS^® for the level of professionalism.  “I know that I work for a company that believes in doing the right thing for our customers and employees alike.”  Ann lives in Austin with her husband.  After traveling the world through the military, they still love to travel, especially to see their three children.

Ken serves as Vice President and Director of Career Development, and is responsible for training and real estate education for all agents within the Austin Region.  Ken began his career in real estate in Austin in 1976.  He is a native Texan and a Texas Longhorn.  Ken sold real estate for six years before obtaining his Broker’s license, then opened and managed an office for one of Austin’s top local real estate firms in Westlake, where he convinced his Broker at the time, to create a training department.  Ken transitioned to full time Training Director in 1984, which very few real estate companies had at that time.  In 1987, he formed his own training firm and developed training programs for various real estate companies in the Austin area.  Ken joined Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS^® as Vice President of Sales and Training Manager in 1990.  Soon, with his passion for teaching, he began his service as a full time trainer.  Over the years, Ken has had the opportunity to work with thousands of agents and managers.  “I feel fortunate for having met so many people that want to take charge of their future and career.”  When you train with Ken, you’ll notice his dry wit, his great sense of humor, and his relentless passion for making sure you “get it.”

As Vice President of Information Systems & Technology, Shawn is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology for the Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS^® corporate offices, local branch offices, and agents. He has 20 years of experience in the information technology field, working first as IT manager for an international business and technology law firm, and later as the owner of an IT consulting firm. Shawn joined Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS^® in 2001 after working with the company for several years through his consulting firm.  An Eagle Scout and a Gulf War Army Veteran, he lives near Austin with his family where they enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Travis. Shawn enjoys working for Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® because of the quality of people within the company.  “This truly is a professional but fun group of people that I work with and assist on a daily basis… and there’s always a technical challenge to solve. Being part of a successful team that is on the technology forefront of the real estate industry is exciting."

Joanie began her career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Richard Smith, REALTORS^® in 1997, just after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin.  She served as Relocation Director for three years before moving into a marketing and public relations position.  Joanie’s 10-year commitment to the company has been a direct result of the loyalty and integrity demonstrated by the people within the Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS’^® organization.  “I value this company in much the same way that I value my family, with pride and love.  We work hard, with high ethical standards, and at the end of the day it’s all about the people we serve.”  Joanie lives in Austin with her husband and four-year-old son, and takes advantage of all that Austin has to offer.  She enjoys the live music scene, visiting area parks and lakes with her family, and traveling throughout the Hill Country.  Go Longhorns!
